As far as I know, this isn't possible on the SB2.  It has a custom
prom-monitor from Tadpole which just has rudimentary diagnostics.  It is all
menu driven, and does not have a generic monitor prompt from which to enter
any commands.

Do a probe-scsi at the prom-monitor prompt to see what devices it thinks
are there.
The sparcbook is single-ended scsi, just like your sparc II. If you
can't
see the hard disk OR the cdrom, you've got some cable problems.
