(Another non-SparcBook related question....)

 If due to database restrictions you're unable to split off the
installation across several file systems, what you are looking for is
Solstice DiskSuite, which comes bundled with Solaris 8, and is available
separately on the previous versions.  You can use it to create a logical
device out of 2 physical devices. If you do not have /usr/opt/SUNWmd,
you do not have DiskSuite installed on your system.
http://docs.sun.com has more information on the subject; do a search for
disksuite.
