If you can't revive the beast, I would be interested in purchasing it
for spare parts.  My screen is still dim and I am interested in fixing
that.  Although I'm away from home, I hear my second GS has also failed
- -- but I will need to verify that.

I guess I might just be on the lookout for a 3000xt or something. :-)
