[rescue] Desk-height DEC "half rack"?

Mine has a part of of 70-12438 hand written on a label inside the back
cover.  Google didn't seem to provide any useful information.

It might have been somewhat custom.  On the boilerplate label on back,
it has the model listed as "PURDUE" and a S/N of WZ-00003.
