  Because I have TS-806 and TS-816 computers that these connect to.  The
TS-800A is actually a complete CP/M computer that boots a copy of CP/M
over a high-speed synchronous serial line (SDLC) from a TS-806 or
TS-816.  The former handles up to six such satellite systems, the TS-816
handles sixteen.  It's a wonderful setup, but they're really thin on the
ground.
