As someone who spends a LOT of time managing VMWare / vSphere
environments, both at the current job and at the last one - I've been
*very* happy with KVM / virt-manager at home for the last .. 4? years.

Really looking forward to being able to eventually use the LXD stuff in
Debian, myself.  All but one of my KVM VMs would be perfect candidates
for it.

I miss Solaris Zones a lot.  Had to move all my personal stuff (even
SunHELP) off Solaris when Oracle gave the OpenSolaris community (and the
hobbyist community in general) the finger when it came to "no patches,
at all, unless you have a support contract".
