[rescue] A wee bit off-topic

I recently started reading the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson.
After Jobs took over Apple after the fiasco of Amelio, they cut their
inventory down to 3 days.  Now imagine if there was a revision to a part by
a manufacturer...
