Have you tried eBay? I've had great luck finding very affordable parts for my
older laptops there... Including Apple & Toshiba.

I would certainly balk at $230 for a replacement keyboard, I suspect you could
find either a replacement keyboard for a very reasonable 'for parts' laptop
with a suitable keyboard.
