[rescue] E5405 CPU upgrade?

PE2950s came in three generations, each with their own parts and mother board quirks.

Unless you are buying from a Dell reseller, I would tread carefully.  I know i had to replace voltage regulators to change CPU type in a 2950 at least once.  

Just because it's commodity hardware, don't assume it has no oddities.  Firms like Dell exist to do the integration work Sun used to do.
