Oh, and after I've got the OS installed I usually just do everything via ssh. I've never been impressed with the default Solaris desktop (I hate the default resolution our stuff comes up in), but everything appears to work fine with X-forwarding turned on. I normally use a linux desktop or run X-win32 on Windows.
