Was it cnews that had a filter to check out your postings and bounce ones
where words like sh*t, f*ck, etc were spelled out? It was named after
the povincial censor from somewhere in Canada. 

I remember that the version of cnews run by UUNET was rife with bugs, 
when I wrote my news system for Coherent, I had to code all sorts of things
to detect the bugs and work around them :-(

New word I coined 12/13/09, "Sub-Wikipedia" adj, describing knowledge or
understanding, as in he has a sub-wikipedia understanding of the situation. 
i.e possessing less facts or information than can be found in the Wikipedia.
