[rescue] OT - Optics / Laser rescue bits?

I, for one, am interested in your ongoing thread.

I have no background in lasers or optics, but several laser articles on
various tech sites have lead me to wickedlasers.com.

I have yet to buy anything, but I have an interested and gain knowledge
by lurking.
