[rescue] 5.25" floppy on modern PC

Hello,

I'm trying to install a 360K floppy on a modern Gigabyte motherboard. 
the MB bios supports the 360K drive.  I have a single device floppy 
cable out of an external IBM (PS/2) drive, with no twist.  After I 
realized the cable would require a jumper change, I looked at the drive. 
  The drive has ds 0-3, and I switched it to 0, yet the drive still gets 
confused...... same as before the change.

Any ideas?  I'd try another cable, but the only other one I have doesn't 
have a card edge connector on it.
