I'm not convinced.  Most of my SPARCs came my way for $0; I feel quite
sure the total has been under $5000 - and they're basically Timexes; my
hardware woes are almost entirely other arches.  (Mostly peecees, but a
few others, like the z50 whose memory expansion failed.)  I've had a
failure or two from the SPARCs, but they're few and far between enough
I can't even recall whether I had one this millennium.
