And, their KVM thing requires a firefox plugin that must be installed as 
root (or, in any case, somewhere in /usr).  Ick.

Sun's thing can do this by connecting using ssh (or a serial line) to 
their LOM controller.  Plus, it's just an embedded linux box that they 
give you all the source code to, and you could hack away at it to fix 
things, or add features if desired.

If Dell or HP offered ssh to connect to the darn thing instead of a 
crappy web interface, it'd be a whole lot more usable from home...
