did they actually make it, or was it a rebadged tatung or the like?
there were a few ss2-clone vendors; iirc two of them even boosted the
clock from 40 to 50 MHz, which the weitek chipset supported but sun
never formally recognized.
i wanted to try it with my genuine ss2 with weitek powerup but didn't
get to it before i retired the system. i have the osc and a socket
for it.
