Thanks, I remembered how to say it, but forgot how to spell it.

Oh well, not that I would eat there now, I'm allergic to fowl and
don't eat pork for relgious reasons.

They were unique. They served birds and sausages air dried (probably with
a fan, not really wind dried) in a truely chinese decor (formica topped
tables, bright flourescent lights and tea in glasses).

I prefered it in the 1980's when there were bookstores, radio and electrical
parts stores and a camera store that sold Russian cameras not sold in
the U.S. in the area. Now they are all gone.

Someone gave me a bunch of Practical Wireless magazines circa 2000, and
one of them had an article about the author's (then deceased) uncle and
his closed electronics store in Lyle Street (I can't vouch for the spelling),
just north of Leicester Square. I remember it fondly, having spent an
afternoon in it discussing elecronics with the uncle.

When I told him I was from Philly, he told me they bought things from
a company there and pulled out a Herbach and Rademan catalog, a place
I lived about a mile from and frequented.
