Some do, and that is ideal, but many are in fact just shared video, such as
the i810. Those will sap memory bandwidth from the CPU. I specifically avoid
those boards unless I'm building a cheap clunker where I'm putting a glacial
CPU in anyway.

In any case, the graphics card on most of my machines usually does 80x25 in
16 colours and displays a login prompt that nobody can see anyway :)
