[rescue] Need dope-slap on Netra t1 150 and DVD setup

It's an external drive, a TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-M14011007, and works
just fine once the OS is booted. It just fails miserably when the
OS hasn't been instantiated and the machine is under OBP control.
