There is such a thing as "Loctite" for plastic.  Haven't used it, so
can't say if it's appropriate for SATA connectors.  Personally, I
haven't had any issues with mine.  The eSATA connectors do have
"clips" on the side you have to pinch inwards to be able to remove the
cable from the plug.
