No they don't. F connectors are either male (cables) or female (devices).
DIN antenna connectors are also male and female. I don't have one in front
of me, but I think the wires comming out of an antenna are male and therefore
the sockets are female. However on a VCR video out, they are the opposite.

So if you took the Radio Shack adaptor and used a male to male F coupling
to connect it to the tuner, it would have the wrong gender on the
antenna side. A real pain in the backside. Here you can get male to male
and female to female DIN couplings if you look hard enough.

Cable boxes, and satellite receivers don't have that problem, they have
F connectors on the input and output and installers have lots of adaptors
in their tool boxes. My satellite receiver/PVR does not even have an
RF out.
