Hmmm. The -140 is a bit odd as it has a MPIC / Open PIC (interrupt
controler). Other PReP machines usually have a plain, old i8259.
Maybe Solaris PPC can't cope with the MPIC.

I own several Motorola PowerStack II machies. AFAIK Solaris PPC 2.5.1
runs on them but you need the special install CD _and_ a special boot
floppy. Of course the CD does _not_ contain an image of that floppy...
