It's not near as hard as it used to be to get IRIX, now that its
discontinued (or will be in a couple of months).

Agreed.  Unless its completely maxed out on RAM, R10K, with oddball/rare 
expansion cards, I wouldn't expect more than shipping + maybe $20 to cover
time & gas.
