I haven't cracked open the PSU; I'm hesitant to do so because of it
still being under warranty.
I didn't note anything out of the ordinary on the motherboard, but
didn't check the caps specifically. I still need to calculate out the
actual load that all the gear in the case was pulling before I started
taking bits out just to make sure I didn't ignorantly overload the
PSU. As it ran for 6 months without any problems at all, so I'm
wondering if the PSU's +5V rail was just marginal in the first place.
