Jeez, I thought you were getting made at the poster, then when I finished your response it was clear you were mad at the drive/sun...

I was able to boot my SunBlade 1000 from a burned DVD, I guess ignorance worked in my favor (I didn't know it wasn't supposed to work)...

The drive was a Sun DVD-ROM drive...
