[rescue] When your battery has died

As I understand it, when the NVRAM battery dies on older Suns, like the
IPX/LX/Classic/etc., you have three choices:

	replace the NVRAM
	open the NVRAM and hack in a new battery
	use a start-up script that sets up the PROM, then reboots

... but what about older SGIs, like my Indigo2s, Indys and Challenge L?
Same deal?  Will they boot with a dead NVRAM battery?
