Right, they just have an "it works here" list, plus a small list of
fully-tested boxes.

You might be able to search the list by device type, I did it just
this morning.

Good news is that software RAID is supposed to be much improved. I
hope it is.

Doesn't take very long for me; try disabling ACPI or APM and see if
things get better for you.

A lot of changes to the kernel between 8 and 10.
