[rescue] need a cheap windows laptop

my daughter is a mac addict, but has one program which only runs on
windows. since space is a concern, she needs a laptop with a cdrom drive
(the program is on cd) and ethernet would be nice to hook up to her
power mac g4. i don't know what the various p, p2, p3 nomenclature
which i see in ads describes. (i only use suns.) anyone have a cheap 
laptop which has a cdrom drive  which they wish to get rid of?
