[rescue] Changing IP address in Solaris 10

Ok,
 I've got a really weird problem.  I've got an Ultra 5 I've installed 
Solaris 10 on.  Originally I had it in a
172.16.45.0 network but now I want it in a 10.16.17.0 subnet. I've 
changed the information in
/etc/inet/hosts to reflect the new IP address, the hostname stays the 
same and everytime I reboot the box it goes right back to the old 
172.16.45.X address.  What did Sun do to the IP address configuration 
setup in Solaris 10?
