hmmm... airbuses have always been 'glass cockpit' oriented... the
original a300s had a notorious string of crashes due to airframe
flight behavior not in the fly-by-wire computer's programming.

iirc that was the failure-to-boot screen, and they say it'll be back
to black in production.
