   Not to be flip, but are those impressions based on first-hand
experience, or published reviews/benchmarks, or...?
   I don't have any Solaris x86 experience (and I've been a little
turned off by Sun lately, makign their Flavor Of The Month a little less
appealing), and I'm feeling like this would be a big change -- or am I
just being a wimp? :7)
