The typical folding banquet table is a couple-or-three inches too high as a
keyboard table for the average person. Fortunately, you can easily shorten
the legs with an ordinary tubing cutter, and replace the cheesy plastic ends
with non-marking white crutch tips. This works a treat on the steel tubular
legs used on the usual El Cheapo press-board tables. I dunno about those
aluminium babies, though.
The legs on those cheap tables are _much_ better than the tops, and can be
easily salvaged from frabbed-out cheapies for use on more robust items.
