Yes. I remember by thinking that RAID 0 is "no RAID" while RAID 1 is the 
simplest of RAIDs, i.e. a mirror.

And as far as SDS goes, I have looked all over for a method to 
explicitly create a RAID 1+0, but all that SDS allows is RAID 0+1. 
However all the docs and posts I have found indicate that a RAID 0+1 
created with SDS will indeed function like a RAID 1+0. We'll see what 
happens when the first disk in my D5200 fails.
