It turns out I have no extra 300 MHz CPUs for sale (the U2s I thought had 300 MHz CPUs turned out to have 250 MHz US II CPUs).

I did notice there are several auctions for 300 MHz CPUs for Ultra 2s on ebay for around $40 each.
