Actually if you search the Sun forums for Solaris/x86, there is a Perl
one-liner posted that is for changing the hardcoded lists of x86 CPUS
that are OK; the example was for the VIA cyrix Eden chips, that run on
just a few watts and can run fanless.  I bet if you knew what to look
for, you could modify that Perl oneliner to do this...
