No SNMP, but it one time it did have hookups for sensing the temperatures
and heater activation in the boilers, and the pump, etc.  That ran through
an old laptop and was available on the network.  It was even more boring
than fingering the Coke machine at MIT....

Even big commercial espresso machines generally still use electro-mechanical
temperature and pressure sensing; if there's any electronics at all, it's
just in the part that regulates the amount of water used to make coffee.  A
very few manufacturers are exploring PID units and other methods of
temperature control, but the general run of machines still use the same
control methoids used 30 years ago.
