I used to enjoy TPJ, but never subscribed because it was a US publication.
The high premium charged on subscriptions to non-US readers and the
requirement to pay in dollars is just too much. So I'd pick it up in a
specialist bookshop in London as and when I remembered. And then I moved out
of London...

That the magazine was quarterly did not help me to remember to go and buy
the latest edition. I'd have appreciated a monthly read.

I didn't subscribe to the "new" TPJ, because I couldn't find any information
on the format of it, and electronic magazines don't lend themselves well to
being read on the loo. That's where most of my reading occurs.
