I run a U1 desktop and a U2 desktop at home. Performance on both is 
fine, but not blindingly fast. The U2 has 2x200MHz CPUs and 512M RAM so 
it handles multiple tasks more gracefully. Both machines have Creator 
cards (24-bit graphics); I wouldn't be running them as desktops otherwise.
