That error is saying that there are too many disk chunks being plugged 
together to form a file system. Do you have all the disks that were in 
use with the system when in service? It may actually be missing a disk 
slice and becoming confused as well. The easiest thing to do is 
reinstall if you have the media.

The configuration you describe should be fine - which model number is it?

As for docs, other than some file systems stuff and the sysadm menu for 
maintenance it's a very vanilla SysVR4 release. Nicely done though.

I miss my 4600... :(
