That sounds strange considering that 64-bit PCI was designed to be
compatible with 32-bit PCI and it generally _is_ compatible.

I put two 64-bit PCI cards in my U5 for a test - Compaq NC3134 dual
EtherExperes Pro/100 (normal PCI bridge and 2 Intel chips as usual) and
a Qlogic QLA1280 SCSI.

Both cards work fine.

Not Solaris but Linux, but this shows there is no universal problem with
64-bit PCI cards in U5. Probably it's just (lack of) Solaris drivers.
