If you run the framebuffer tool (ffbconfig?) inside a text session with the
LCD panel attached/powered on, it will list all the modes supported by the LCD
and the framebuffer - find two that match, and force the card to that.

That is roughly how I got my off-brand CRT to work with my Ultra 5 and its
built-in PGX24 framebuffer... The creator should work similarly, but may
require a different command.
