Wow, bummer - I've seen U80 bases sell retail (ELI Systems, Inc.) for $400, and Cycle Quad bases (U80 in 3rd party case) for around $100 on Ebay - I suspect your replacement PS will be quite expensive, probably between those to prices...

Ugh, who gave you a broken base? Was it a gift/very low price?
