Ummmm, I downloaded it, and I dunno ...

/usr/local/bin # ls -la sformat
-rwx------    1 root     sys       465156 Jan 27 15:24 sformat
/usr/local/bin # file sformat

version 1
/usr/local/bin # sformat
ksh: sformat: Program not supported by architecture

Now, I'm looking at the machine, and it looks very much like an SGI
Challenge to me ...

/usr/local/bin # uname -a
IRIX64 tandem 6.5 05190003 IP19
/usr/local/bin #

... but maybe it wants something else ...

/usr/local/bin # file /bin/grep
/bin/grep:      ELF N32 MSB mips-3 executable MIPS - version 1
/usr/local/bin #

The comes-with grep is mips-3, but the sformat on your site is mips-4.  I'm
supposing that's the problem....
