My setup looks like this:

wall --> APC SmartUPS 1000 -> APC power strip surge protector --> TV

However, the surge protectors in both the power strip and surge protector
are MOV-based.  I'm thinking of doing this:

wall -> Brickwall -> SmartUPS -> APC power strip -> TV

Overkill?  Probably, but cheaper than a new TV.
