[rescue] Peoblem with U30...

Hello - I'm having a problem with an Ultra 30 that was recently pulled
out of storage - it won't power up (fully)...  What I mean is, I plug
it in to the wall, connect a known good keyboard & mouse, and power the
unit up. The power light above the power switch does not light up, but
the HDs & CD seem to power up fine. I checked the U30 service manual,
and it speaks of either a MB faliure or power supply failure, the first
being detected by no output (on the framebuffer) and the latter by a
lack of light flashing/noise from the keyboard. When I power up the
lights on the keyboard light briefly, then fade out, and do not come on
again (waited 30 minutes). I plan to remove and reseat everything, and
connect a serial terminal to it to see what (if anything) is going on
inside... Any other ideas on what might be wrong/things to consider... Thanks!
