That's quite possible.  You're a sick man. :)

But if it could be made more generic, you'd have a way to build a neat-o
pseudo-HPC cluster for easily parallelized problems that works across
multiple platforms (SPARC, New World Mac, CHRP RS/6000) without a
recompile
