The service manual doesn't list that exact code, but it says for 
unlisted codes you could have problems with 1) System board 2) Riser 
Card or 3) Memory module.  I'm going to bet that the DIMM you pulled 
isn't quite right.  Last time I checked on eBay, there was quite a bit 
of memory on there for these things, and while not free/cheap, it's not 
too bad ($20ish for 128MB stick), definitely cheaper than a reseller.

RS/6000s are known for being unhappy when you try to use non-IBM ram in 
them (or RAM that isn't for an RS/6000 specifically, at least).
