I have gotten a sun running Solaris 8 to act as a router between an HME
and a SunFDDI card.  However, so far I'm getting slightly better than
10mbit speeds between the two subnets.

Actually, come to think of it, I may need to double check that my test
machines are actually using the HME rather than the onboard ethernet of
the router.  After months of being defeated by this, I'll be so
embarassed if that's the problem.  Otherwise, it is possibly a
consequence of using the built in Solaris routing for the task.
