Hrm .... I seem to have a problem. All the POST diagnostics look OK,
but if I try to let it boot off its old Solaris 8 install, it's hanging
right after setting the multicast network, it consistently hangs if I
drop to OBP (at any point) for a probe-scsi-all, and it hangs if I let
the installer look for existing upgradeable installations. So I'm
trying to boot to a single-user shell from the install CDs, and I can't
seem to get one.

Does Solaris 9 no longer honor the -w parameter for "no windows, just
give me a damn shell"?
