Dave, I think you know *I* don't pay for hardware support (all my equipment is for hobby use), so I'll assume this was not directed at me personally...

Well, OK - it's called accounting and tax codes, but yeah - suit bullshit covers it nicely.

I was describing the decision process, not defending it...

Why is an E10K so cheap these days? Because unless you run all your own software on it, the license costs will eat you alive (per CPU pricing gets real expensive, real fast on one of those boxes...)
